Eastern has announced a new program to support students on the spectrum, starting in 2012. From the program brochure:
The College Success Program (CSP) for Students Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder is designed to maximize students’ potential as they live and learn within a caring Christian community. Support is individually tailored to match each student’s unique profile and is offered in the context where it is needed. Simultaneously, ASD-specific training and consultation is provided to Eastern University’s faculty and staff, so that supportive strategies are consistently and comprehensively applied.
