Daemen partners with the Gersh Experience to provide services to students with ASD’s. Gersh is a residential program:
Gersh Experience provides young men and women with autistic-spectrum disorder and related neurobiological disorders accredited academic and vocational preparation along with 24/7 coaching and support for independent living, social skills and wellness.
We provide our students with the customized education they need to achieve extraordinary things – like matriculating to graduate school, interning with U.S. representatives, and launching successful careers. But we’re just as proud of our success helping them do seemingly ordinary things – like making and keeping friends, living on their own, and having a fun and successful college experience.
Gersh participants are enrolled as regular full-time Daemen students. Daemen students also serve as mentors to participants.
